Welcome Fikadu!
A big welcome to a new PhD candidate, Fikadu Biru, who joins us from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He studied in the lab of Rivka Elbaum investigating the role of silicon in dark induced plant senescence. His new project addresses the role of rising atmospheric carbon dioxide on silicon deposition in grasses. Delighted to have Fikadu join us and Rivka on the supervisory panel.
